FASTMAG started life in March 1998. Three strategically located Regional Distribution Centres, linked by a daily trunk and supported by a modern fleet of almost 200 vehicles, form a highly effective national network.
FASTMAG Ltd. is based in Dunstable less than 3 miles from the M1 Motorway. Comprising 75,000 sq.ft. warehouse and extensive office facilities to house traffic planning, accounts and customer service departments, this Distribution Centre serves the South East and Anglia. Scotland and Northern England are serviced by the Leeds based Distribution Centre operated by Macfarlane Transport Ltd. C.M.Downton Ltd of Gloucester operate the South West Distribution Centre and service South Wales and the South West. FASTMAG is a wholly owned subsidiary of C.M.Downton Ltd and these two companies have a combined turnover of £65m.
